I am a bassist and composer based in New Orleans, LA. I lead or co-lead a number of ensembles that would fall under the umbrella of jazz or creative improvised music (Matt Booth & Palindromes; Extended; Some Antics; Brain Duster; Trionomicon). I'm interested in using music to convey a wide spectrum of emotions and textures, and not getting caught in familiar patterns or routines.
